Media
Part of my job for the non-profit I co founded in Iceland was to give interviews to radio, newspapers, television and magazines. I think the media has a big responsibility when it comes to reporting about the issue of child sexual abuse to also include information about prevention and where to go for help. Most of the interviews I have given are of course in Icelandic but below I have listed some that are in english. I do encourage other survivors to speak openly about the abuse they suffered because it gives others permission and an example of how to say these hard words.
